Notum sit omnibus tam futuris quam presentibus quod ego Galfridus de Ivoi, recognito jure monialium de Godestowe de dimidia virgata terre quam injuste diu detinueram, illam scilicet que fuit Wolvrici Haignordi, et de prato quod dicitur Letlemed et communi pastura, sicut carta domine imperatricis testatur dc donacione et regis de confrmacione, ita eis reddidi solute et quiete et libere tenendam ut liberam elemosinam. Translation:

Be it known to all those future and present that after the recognition of the right of the nuns of Godstow on half a virgate of land, which I had unjustly detained for a long time and which had belonged to Wolfric Haignord and on the meadow called Littlemede and a common pasture, according to the charter of the lady empress concerning the donation and that of the king concerning the confirmation, I Geofrey de Ivoi have restored it to them to be held unfettered, quietly and freely as free aIms. Witnesses: Ralph of St. Martin, Hugh fitz Richard, Thierry the chaplain, Henry of Oxford, Hugh of Elsfield, Hugh fitz Osbert, Ralph Gubewin, Ansger de Lewknor and Robert the reeve.
