Translation:
This is the final agreement made in the court of our Lady the queen in Westminster in Easter in the fifteenth day in the year of the reign of Elizabeth by the grace of God queen of England, France and Ireland, defendor of the faith, etc., from the conquest seventeen (1575) in the court before James Dyer, Richard Harpur, Roger Manwood, and Robert Mounson, Justices and others faithful to the lady queen then there present.   Between Charles Fourde and Henry Domett, gentleman, and Robert Fourde, gentleman, deforceant, concerning two messuages, three barns, two tofts, four gardens, six orchards, one hundred acres of land, twenty acres of meadow, seventy acres of pasture, six acres of forest, forty acres of furze and heath, together with pasture for all animals, with appurtenances, in Marlecombe, Holbroke and Allescombe.
Whereof a plea of covenant was summoned between them in the same court, namely that the foresaid Robert acknowledged the foresaid tenements and pastures with appurtenances to be the right of the aforesaid Charles and that the same Charles and Henry have of the gift of the aforesaid Robert namely he has remised and quit-claimed them from himself and his heirs to the foresaid Charles and Henry and the heirs of the same Charles  And besides the same Robert has granted for himself and his heirs that he will warrant to the foresaid Charles and Henry and the heirs of the same Charles the aforesaid tenements and all pasture with appurtenances against the aforesaid Robert and his heirs forever. And for this acknowledgement, remission, quit-claim, warrant, fine, & agreement the same Charles and Henry gave to the foresaid Robert eighty pounds sterling.
